"You're not callin' a taxi," Maou casually called him out. His hands eased into his pockets as he turned forward, mild and nonthreatening. The end of the alley loomed ahead. Just before Maou turned the corner, he grinned back at Urushihara like he was sharing a daring secret.

"I promised you, didn't I?"

The Demon King then disappeared around the corner. Standing before them in all its meaty glory was the yakiniku place he and Ashiya had visited before. Another meal Urushihara had missed out on, and Maou intended to make it up to him.
