"No catch. I keep my word, and you held up your end o' the bargain," Maou said, his grin slightly strained from the day's hardships. He raised his brow and shrugged airily. "Plus I know if you made food for you and Ashiya, you're the reason he got sick, which means you haven't eaten an actual meal today. Food was the only reason you even wanted to go on this whole hell trip."
His tone wasn't accusing. Maou was only pointing out the facts as he recognized them.
